Terms & Licence
These terms cover the licence to use the DijiFlow Dictate app and the terms of sale for buying it. By installing the app or buying a plan, you agree to be bound by them.
Personal Licence
You get a personal, non-transferable licence to use DijiFlow Dictate. Free is free forever; Trial gives 30 days of Pro; Pro unlocks the full feature set.
Plans & Renewal
Pro is sold as monthly, 6-month and 12-month subscriptions that auto-renew until cancelled, or as a one-time Lifetime purchase.

The app is published by PITIR TECH (Ninu Limited, UK). These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

Agreement to These Terms
These Terms & Licence (the "Terms") form a legally binding agreement between you and PITIR TECH, the trading name of Ninu Limited, a company registered in England and Wales ("PITIR TECH", "we", "us", or "our"), covering your use of the DijiFlow Dictate — Pro application (the "App") and your purchase of any plan for it.
The Terms combine two things: a software licence that governs how you may use the App, and terms of sale that govern how you buy a plan. By installing or using the App, or by purchasing a plan, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms.
If you do not agree with these Terms, do not install or use the App and do not purchase a plan.
The App and this storefront website are separate. The App runs entirely on your computer and does not use accounts, telemetry, or usage tracking. The website (a Shopify storefront) does use cookies and analytics to process orders and measure site traffic. For how each handles your data, see our Privacy Policy.

Licence Grant
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use the App for your own use on Apple Silicon Macs running macOS 14 (Sonoma) or later.
The App is licensed, not sold. You do not acquire any ownership of the App or its underlying technology. We reserve all rights not expressly granted to you here.
The licence is bound to one device-family using a local hardware identifier. Activation stores only a hash of your licence key and a hash of a hardware ID on your computer — there is no server-side record of your usage. Moving the App to an entirely new machine may require re-activation; contact support if you need help.

Free, Trial & Pro Tiers
The App is available in three tiers. The licence above applies to all of them, with the following scope:
Free — free forever, no payment required. Includes core push-to-talk and toggle dictation, all 29 languages, file transcription up to 3 minutes, one language/hotkey slot, and CPU processing.
Trial — 30 days of full Pro features at no cost and with no credit card required. When the trial ends, the App automatically reverts to the Free tier. You may start a trial once per device-family.
Pro — a paid licence unlocking 3 language/hotkey slots, unlimited file & video transcription, speaker labels, timestamps, vocabulary packs and custom terms, GPU / Neural Engine acceleration, and the largest, most accurate models including Large-v3.
Feature sets for each tier may change over time as the App evolves. We will not remove a paid Pro feature you rely on without a reasonable alternative or notice.

Plans, Pricing & Payment
Pro is purchased on the product page by choosing a Plan option. We offer four variants, priced in GBP:
- Monthly — £4.99 per month, billed monthly.
- 6 months — £20.94 (30% off), billed every 6 months.
- 12 months — £29.94 (50% off), billed every 12 months.
- Lifetime — £39 one-time payment, no renewal.
Prices are shown at checkout and may include applicable taxes depending on your location. You agree to provide accurate billing details and authorise us, through our payment processor, to charge the plan you select. We may correct any obvious pricing errors before fulfilling an order.

Renewal & Cancellation
The Monthly, 6-month, and 12-month plans are subscriptions. They renew automatically at the end of each billing period at the then-current price, unless you cancel before the renewal date. The Lifetime plan is a single one-time purchase and does not renew.
You can cancel a subscription at any time. Cancellation stops future renewals; your Pro access continues until the end of the billing period you have already paid for, after which the App reverts to the Free tier. To cancel or change a plan, contact us at the address below.
If a renewal payment fails, we may retry it and may suspend Pro features until payment succeeds. We will not lose or delete any transcriptions stored on your computer — those never leave your device.

Refunds
We offer a 30-day refund, no questions asked, on any plan purchase. To request one, see our Refund Policy or email us within 30 days of purchase.

Acceptable Use
You agree to use the App lawfully and only as permitted by these Terms. In particular, you agree not to:
- Copy, distribute, resell, sublicense, or rent the App except as expressly allowed here.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App, except to the extent this restriction is prohibited by applicable law.
- Circumvent, remove, or tamper with licence activation, the model-download mechanism, or any technical limitation of a tier.
- Use the App to transcribe content you have no right to record or process, or in any way that infringes the rights of others or breaks the law.
- Share, publish, or attempt to forge a licence key, or use a key on more devices than your plan permits.
- Change your device's clock, date, or time-zone settings, on any computer (Mac or PC), to extend a trial or to keep using a licence past its validity period.
You are responsible for obtaining any consent required to record or transcribe other people, and for complying with the laws that apply where you use the App. We have no visibility into what you transcribe — it all stays on your computer.

Permissions the App Requests
The App requests Microphone and Accessibility permissions only. Microphone is used solely while you are recording. Accessibility is used to detect your dictation hotkey (default Right Option + Space) — it does not read what you type in other apps. You can revoke these permissions in macOS System Settings at any time, though doing so will limit the App's functions.

Intellectual Property
The App, including its name, logo, design, and code (except third-party components noted below), is owned by or licensed to PITIR TECH and protected by intellectual property laws. The DijiFlow name and branding are ours. Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of the App or our marks to you.
DijiFlow Dictate runs speech models on your device using WhisperKit and Apple's CoreML. Each open-source component we use stays subject to its own licence.
Speech models are downloaded on demand the first time you use them (the only time the App needs the internet). The App download itself is around 5 MB. Your voice and transcribed text never leave your computer.

Updates & Availability
We may release updates, fixes, and new features from time to time, and may change or discontinue parts of the App. We aim to keep the App working on supported hardware and macOS versions, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Some features depend on Apple Silicon and a supported macOS version (macOS 14 Sonoma or later).
While your Pro licence is valid, updates to the app and the speech models are included at no extra cost. Paying customers also receive customer support by email at info@pitirtech.com.

Disclaimer of Warranties
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE". TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF SATISFACTORY QUALITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT TRANSCRIPTION WILL BE ACCURATE OR COMPLETE, OR THAT THE APP WILL MEET YOUR REQUIREMENTS OR RUN WITHOUT INTERRUPTION OR ERROR. SPEECH RECOGNITION IS INHERENTLY IMPERFECT — ALWAYS REVIEW IMPORTANT TRANSCRIPTS.
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes any rights you have as a consumer under the laws of England and Wales that cannot be limited or excluded by agreement. Those statutory rights are unaffected.

Limitation of Liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL LOSS, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, LOST DATA, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE APP. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIM RELATED TO THE APP OR THESE TERMS WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US FOR THE APP IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM AROSE.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.

Termination
This licence applies for as long as you use the App. We may suspend or end your licence if you materially breach these Terms — for example, by tampering with the App's code, with licence activation, or with your device's clock to bypass a trial or licence, or by using the App unlawfully. Such tampering forfeits your right to use the App. You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it. On termination, your right to use the App ends, but transcriptions stored on your computer remain yours and on your device.

Governing Law
These Terms and any dispute arising out of or in connection with them are governed by the laws of England and Wales. You and PITIR TECH agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have in your country of residence.

Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Material changes that affect a current subscription will not apply retroactively to a billing period you have already paid for. Continuing to use the App after a change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms.
