Privacy Policy

Two different things are covered here: the DijiFlow Dictate app on your computer, and this website. The app collects nothing. The website processes orders and uses cookies and analytics. We keep that distinction clear throughout.

The app is on-device

Your voice and the text it produces never leave your computer. Transcription runs locally with WhisperKit and CoreML. No internet is needed except the first model download.

No telemetry

The app has no analytics, no usage tracking, and no crash reporting. There is no account to create, and no server-side record of how you use it.

Licences store only hashes

Activating Pro stores a hash of your licence key and a hash of a hardware ID, locally on your computer. The plain key and hardware details are never sent or stored on our side.

The website is separate

This Shopify store processes your order and uses cookies and analytics for site traffic and ads. That is the only place we handle personal data, and you have full GDPR / UK GDPR rights over it.

Introduction

This privacy policy explains how DijiFlow handles your information. DijiFlow Dictate — Pro is a macOS voice-to-text app published by PITIR TECH, the trading name of Ninu Limited, a company registered in the United Kingdom.

There are two distinct parts to address, and we keep them separate throughout this notice:

  • The app — the DijiFlow Dictate software that runs on your computer.
  • The website — this Shopify storefront at dijiflow.com, where you can buy a licence or start a trial.

If you have any questions, email us at info@pitirtech.com.

02

App vs. website at a glance

The app collects nothing. Your voice and the text it produces stay on your computer. There is no account, no telemetry, and no server-side record of usage.

The website is a normal online store. It processes your order and uses cookies and analytics for site traffic and advertising, the same as most e-commerce sites.

1. The App

In short: the DijiFlow Dictate app does not collect, transmit, or store your personal data anywhere off your device.

DijiFlow Dictate runs entirely on your computer. Speech-to-text is performed on-device using WhisperKit and CoreML on Apple Silicon, drawing on the GPU and Neural Engine. After the first model download, the app needs no internet connection to transcribe.

Voice and text

Audio is processed in memory while you dictate or transcribe a file or video, and the resulting text is pasted into whatever app you are typing in. Neither the audio nor the text is sent to us or to any third party. We never see it.

Microphone

The microphone is active only while you are actively recording — during push-to-talk, while toggle dictation is on, or while a file or video is being transcribed. It is not listening at any other time.

Accessibility permission

The app asks for macOS Accessibility permission for one reason only: to detect your dictation hotkey (the default is Right Option + Space). It does not read, log, or monitor what you type in other applications.

No telemetry of any kind. The app has no analytics, no usage tracking, and no crash reporting. There is nothing to opt out of, because nothing is collected.

Licence activation

If you activate a Pro licence, the app stores two things locally on your computer: a hash of your licence key and a hash of a hardware identifier. These are used only to confirm that your licence is valid on your machine. The plain licence key and your raw hardware details are never transmitted to us, and we keep no server-side record of who has activated what, or of how the app is used.

Network use

The only time the app contacts the internet is to download speech models on demand — for example the first time you use a language or select a larger, more accurate model. These downloads fetch model files; they do not send any of your content.

2. The Website

In short: this website is a Shopify store. To sell you a licence and run the site, we and our providers process some personal data and use cookies and analytics.

The website at dijiflow.com is hosted on Shopify and operates like any other online store. The data controller for the website is Ninu Limited (trading as PITIR TECH), a company registered in the United Kingdom.

Data controller: Ninu Limited (PITIR TECH), United Kingdom. [TODO: registered company address].

3. What the Website Collects

In short: at checkout we collect what is needed to take payment and deliver your licence, plus basic technical data as you browse.

Information you give us at checkout. When you buy a licence or start a trial, the following may be collected so your order can be processed and your licence delivered:

  • Name and email address
  • Billing address and country
  • Payment information, which is entered into and handled by the payment processor — we do not store full card numbers
  • Order details, such as the plan you chose and your purchase history

Information collected automatically. As you browse the site, standard technical data is collected, including your IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, referring URLs, and similar usage information. This is used to operate the site, keep it secure, measure traffic, and support advertising.

We do not knowingly collect any sensitive personal data through the website, and the website never receives any data from the app.

06

4. Cookies and Consent

In short: the website uses cookies for essential functions, analytics, and advertising. Where required, you can set your preferences through the consent banner.

The website uses cookies and similar technologies to keep your cart and session working, to understand how the site is used, and to measure and target advertising. Broadly, these fall into:

  • Essential cookies — needed for the store, cart, and checkout to function.
  • Analytics cookies — used to measure traffic and improve the site.
  • Advertising cookies — used to measure and personalise ads.

Where consent is required, you can accept, reject, or adjust non-essential cookies through the cookie banner shown on the site. Most browsers also let you block or delete cookies in their settings, though doing so may affect how parts of the store work.

07

5. Third Parties We Use

In short: we use a small number of trusted providers to run the store, take payment, and measure traffic. Each handles your data under its own privacy terms.

To operate the website and fulfil orders, we share the relevant data with:

  • Shopify — our e-commerce platform and host, which processes orders and stores customer and order records on our behalf.
  • Payment processors — the providers connected through Shopify that take and process your payment securely.
  • Analytics and advertising providers — used to measure site traffic and the effectiveness of advertising.

We do not sell your personal data. We may also share information where required to comply with the law, or in connection with a business transfer such as a merger or acquisition.

08

6. Your Rights (GDPR / UK GDPR)

In short: if you are in the UK or EEA, you have rights over the personal data the website holds, and you can exercise them by emailing us.

Because Ninu Limited is UK-based, the UK GDPR applies, and the EU GDPR applies to visitors in the European Economic Area. These rights relate to the personal data the website processes — the app holds no personal data on our side to which they could apply.

You have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you and receive a copy
  • Have inaccurate data corrected
  • Have your data erased, where the law allows
  • Restrict or object to processing, including profiling for advertising
  • Receive your data in a portable format
  • Withdraw consent at any time, where processing relies on consent

We rely on the following legal bases: performance of a contract (to fulfil your order), legitimate interests (to run, secure, and improve the site), consent (for non-essential cookies and marketing), and legal obligations (such as tax and accounting records).

To exercise any of these rights, email info@pitirtech.com. If you are in the UK you may also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk; if you are in the EEA you may complain to your local data protection authority.

09

7. Data Retention

In short: we keep website and order data only as long as we need it, then delete or anonymise it.

We keep order and customer records for as long as needed to provide support, honour our 30-day refund policy, and meet legal obligations such as tax and accounting requirements, which in the UK is typically several years. Analytics and advertising data is retained according to the settings of the providers we use. When data is no longer needed, we delete or anonymise it.

Data held by the app stays on your computer under your control. Removing the app or deleting its data removes it.

10

8. Security

The app keeps your voice and text on-device, which is the strongest protection of all: there is nothing for us to lose. For the website, we rely on Shopify's platform security and on payment processors that handle card data to industry standards. No method of transmission or storage is ever completely secure, but we use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect the data the website processes.

11

9. Children

The website and the app are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data through the website, contact us and we will delete it.

12

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. If we make a material change, we will make it clear on the site. This policy is governed by the laws of England and Wales.

13

11. How to Contact Us

If you have any questions about this policy or want to exercise your data rights, email us. We reply within one business day, Monday to Friday, 9:00–18:00 UK time.
